Pre-CNY Preparations.

Ok, you know the drill… we get new clothes, new whatever to wear for CNY.
We get some munchies for the home, some sugary drinks for the guests…

In previous years I was more interested in getting the clothes than the munchies, but 4 days to go to CNY and I haven’t even got ANYTHING new to wear yet (except that pair of blue Levis jeans).

And I already have a container of love letters, kueh bangkit, prawn rolls and sugary drinks in stock.

WHERE HAVE MY PRIORITIES GONE!??!?!?!
Especially when I lost 10kg liao leh… *grumbles*

Hey hi Ella,
I think many of these tips that I am about to share is common knowledge… but they all take some determination, some stubbornness and lots of will-power to work!

1. Cut eating portions by half (especially for rice/noodles and carbs in general)
2. Cut all sweet drinks and of course, snacks (not even fruit juice- they are high in sugar content)
3. Cut all deep fried food (yes, no more ko lo yok and stuff)
4. Eat smaller, but more frequent meals. Eat every 2-3 hours to boost your metabolic rate but remember, smaller meals!

I swim 5×10m laps once a week for general fitness, but the diet change is the most important, I feel.
All these took around 3 months for it to work, though… so be patient!

Good luck! :D
