One of Those Times…

When I feel not good enough to be anybody’s friend.
Nobody really likes me, or how I work, or just how I am.
I try to be sincere, but are people talking about me about how teh sucks I am as a person, or how teh sucks I am doing my work?
I want people to like me. I have no idea why that “want” is so strong.
It’s pretty common my dear Barffie, this need for affirmation. Even the most independent-minded person is a human being at heart. If you’re not getting that from your workplace, if staying where you are is so damaging to your sense of self-worth, it’s perhaps time to look elsewhere.
